Sparkling seas of deepest blue -
coral islands, palm encrusted, lightly dusted
with stray beams from the dawning fiery hue,
which slowly climbs the lonely few
of nature’s feathers, floating still,
the remnants of the thunderheads that towered
in the night - that lonely darkness now endowed
with stealing light which soon the day will fill.
This awakening of the dawn
’neath those corals, palm encrusted, lightly dusted
with fresh salt air and spray, once more reborn
to recreate the perfect morn’,
that once did life and time awake,
gives life once more to God’s hope and faith in me,
so that I know now what I was meant to be
and, therefore, will fight for eternity’s sake.
